Sophie & Nic's wedding day was one of my favourites to date. The beautiful pair live in Sydney, but Nic is originally from Perth, and Sophie from the UK. The wedding day had guests that had travelled far and wide to be there to celebrate. The ceremony took place at the Fremantle Roundhouse; an iconic location not just in fremantle but in Perth. The backdrop of the beautiful ocean was so fitting to the coastal, shabby chic and relaxed wedding vibe for the day. I love photographing in freo and making the most of its quirky character and textured walls and buildings contrasting with pops of greenery and old charm. The reception was at Bather's Beach House, the best place to be during Sunset time. I really loved the relaxed and informal style of the reception. Congratulations to this beautiful and truly stunning couple!

Justine & Mike are like two peas in a pod. They love their dogs, they love gaming & nintendo, they love all things nerdy, are friendly & bubbly people and most of all love each other to bits. It was such a joy to photograph this wedding with nerdy & personal touches such as the converse shoes for the bridesmaids. It was a beautiful day at Upper Reach Winery which catered for both ceremony & reception. Congrats to Justine & Mike <3 xx
It was a pleasure photographing this very intimate and small wedding in beautiful Mundaring. Rod & Heather wanted something low key, short & simple and had their wedding ceremony on a old train platform at Mundaring Sculpture Park. The light was quite dark by that point in the afternoon however using my flash i lit up the beautiful couple. Heather's dress was absolutley amazing and my favourite wedding dress out of all the weddings ive photographed so far, it was made for her. Congratulations to Heather & Rod
I had a great time photographing the wedding of Mrs & Mrs Strowger. Narissa & Jamie celebrated their big day with a intimate indoor ceremony at Tradewinds Hotel in fremantle surrounded by close family and friends. I loved being able to capture the group shots on the roof top of the hotel & being able to fit everyone in with plenty room to spare.
Bridal party photos were in two beautiful locations: Bayview Terrace Mosman Park & Monument Hill War Memorial. I'm so in love with the couple shots of Narissa & Jamie taken at the war memorial. Narissa looks absolutley stunning and Jamie could not take his eyes off her saying "she looked like a goddess", i couldn't agree more! I also really loved the bridesmaids dresses which all were the same colour but each one was a different design matching the style of each bridesmaid- totally stealing that idea! The reception room was beautifully decorated following the theme of baby blue. Congratulations to Narissa & Jamie & thankyou for letting me capture your special day Steve & Cherece tied the knot with a civil ceremony on the banks of the Swan River followed by reception at the Tawarri Function Centre. I first met Steve whilst photographing Andrea & Daniel's wedding at Caversham house where Steve was DJ & MC. As a talented wedding singer he finally got to enjoy his own wedding & marry the love of his life. One of the highlights was when Steve sung his song to Cherece which left everyone teary! It was a really special moment.
Congratulations to Steven & Cherece Belinda & Chris were married at Notre Dam Catholic Church followed by reception at the Filipino Australian Club of Perth Clubhouse in Bedford. They celebrated their day with their beautiful children, close friends & family. The church ceremony was particularly important with a large number of attendees and a beautiful choir organised to sing songs throughout the ceremony. During the church ceremony it was pounding down with rain outside but luckily cleared just in time for our post ceremony shots at Burswood.
The wedding reception was a typical large Filipino party, Belinda insisted everyone's children were welcome to attend which made the event a big fun party for all ages. The couple's rainbow cake reflect their positive, happy & relaxed nature. Congratulations to the happy couple Belinda & Chris! Amy & Graeme were married on Saturday 27th of April at Marongaup Community Hall followed by bridal party photos being taken at Noble Falls. I have known bride Amy for 10 years since highschool & was delighted when she asked me to photograph her wedding. This was the first time i was both a photographer & guest which definitely made the experience more personal, especially when Amy walked down the aisle, i had to hold back tears!
I particularly enjoyed shooting at Noble Falls & aimed to embrace the natural Australian bush landscape. I tried to avoid high key areas of light (it was peak sunlight in the afternoon) & kept most of the shots in shaded areas. Amy & Graeme chose to have their reception soon after the ceremony - the day reception added a very relaxed feel to the entire day & allowed guests to relax & party in the same location. Congratulations to Amy & Graeme! |
